All legislative powers of the Town are vested in a Commission consisting of a Mayor and four (4) Commissioners who shall hold office for a term of Two (2) years or until the succeeding Commission takes office.
The Mayor and Commissioners shall appoint a Town Adminstrator who shall serve as the Chief Operating Officer of the Town and shall be charged with the organization, management and oversight of the Towns policies as established by the Mayor and Commissioners. The Town shall also have a Director of Public Works charged with the daily management and oversight of the Public Works Department and a Police Chief, charged with the daily management and oversight of the Police Department.
In addition to the Town Administrator, the Town has a total of 13 employees, consisting of the Town Clerk, (2) administrative assistants, (4) public works employees, Police Chief and (5) patrol officers.
